>>34509478
i thought a glock 40 looks like this
>>
>>34509478
To enjoy it, you'll need to drop in an aftermarket trigger and likely replace the faulty ejector.
>>
>>34509478
The only glock that doesn't look like complete trash aesthetically.
>>
>>34509478
Go for a G20SF, if you want a longer barrel buy one. Oh btw, get a 20lb recoil spring if you're going to run BEARFUCKER +P+KKK+AIDS+ loads through as the stock only is about 17lb.
>>
>>34509478
Ideal for hunting, not so great for plinking due to the cost of ammo. If you want a .40 caliber Glock to plink with, get a Glock 24 instead. They're in stock right now and cost $100 less than the Glock 40.

>>34509667
You don't know what you're talking about. The ejector issue only affected 9mm Glocks produced around 2012-2013. You don't need to replace the trigger, you need to learn to shoot your guns.

>>34509703
You also don't know what you're talking about. The gen4 already has the shorter frame. Glocks 10mm's are not reliable with many high pressure loadings, regardless of recoil spring weight. Stick to factory ammo with factory spec gun parts and you'll be fine.
>>
>>34509786
I handload 10mm friend, and run BEARFUCKER loads through my Glock And sometimes got malfunctions. I went for a 20lbs recoil spring and problems stopped. And 90% of factory ammo is just warm .40S&W, for woods carry you NEED BEARFUCKER rounds.
>>
>>34509805
>and the malfunctions stopped
I have tried different recoil springs in my own gun and don't believe you here. Either you haven't shot enough with the new recoil spring to see the malfunctions yet, or you aren't loading your "bear fucker" rounds as hot.

Either way, .40 will do the job on a black bear with shot placement, but if you think that even your handloads will do jack shit against a grizzley, you are kidding yourself.
>>
>>34509822
Stop.
Just stop, you'll get someone killed with your bullshit, and if you don't know that .40 is suggested by NO ONE for woods carry and think that 10mm can't drop a grizzly you're wrong as fuck, I use my handloads to train because 220gr hard cast Buffalo Bore is expensive as fuck.
>>
>>34509786
I'll admit I was intending to use this as just a range toy. Already have a 17, 21, and a 23 so I guess the 24 wouldn't be that far a stretch
>>
>>34509838
>10mm is just warm .40
>.40 can't kill a black bear, regardless of shot placement
>but 10mm can totally "drop a grizzly"

You have never gone hunting before, huh. Saw that one coming from about a mile away....lol.
>>
>>34509805
What, pray tell, does a "bearfucker" load consist of?
>inb4 220g hardcast @1200fps bullshit

I wish summer would fucking end.

Yep. Though Extreme Penatrator rounds work well too.

You'll get your first kill someday, hunting virgin.

Do it
>>
>>34510091
Just admit that you have no clue what kind of ballistics it takes to kill a large animal.
>>
>>34510109
What mag extension?
>>
>>34510059
Let me guess, you wouldn't trust a 5.56 rifle to stop a bear.
>>
>>34510134
Arredondo, they are 100% reliable. Retards will not clip the spring into the follower and that fucks up the follower just enough to get it binded up sometimes, thats were the bad reviews come form
>>
>>34509646
is that your problem solver right there?
>>
>>34510190
I use my words.
>>
>>34509478
It's a gun, of course you need to buy it.

>bearfucker 10mm
bear spray has a higher chance of survival and has the upside of not killing a wild animal who dindu nuffin. don't be a dick. (i'd still carry both, though)
>>
>>34509478
More like
>Glock you out of it.
>>
Why? It's fuckin' nice.
>>
>>34511017
Fair enough. I think I'd like 77gr TSX or something.
>>
>>34510164
The Arredondo extension I had on my G26 looked and felt like cheap shit, with rough edges, flashing, and mold marks all over it, and you could feel the spring and follower toughly transitioning from the magazine body to the extension, but never malfunctioned.
>>
>>34511108
As mentioned with >>34509786
ammo's kinda of high (though not an issue exclusive to just 10mm), probably not the most suited for just goofing off at the range, and having no experience with 10mm the recoil might be too much. That being said, most reviews of it seem to indicate it's the easiest to shoot of the 10mms out there
>>
>>34509478
Are you particularly attached to your fingers?
>>
>>34509478

Glocks are for fags.
>>
>>34509478

No, buy it you gay. Buy an RMR too.
>>
Get it. Get two.

>glock 40 problem solver
