>>
Hitler did like that occult shit.
>>
The Nazis were well known to have used demonic and occult powers to design their weapons.

That is the only way their ovens for instance could turn people into powder in 15 minutes or less, when even with today's technology it takes hours to cremate a body to the point required for Auschwitz / Treblinka or others where these mass cremations occurred leaving no remains.

Atheists need to take a hard look at this when they deny that some of the evil powers in the world are not aided by spiritual darkness as Ephesians 6:12 says

Interesting theory
>>
>>34491840
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_trifluoride

So catalytic and self oxidizing that it will burn and corrode in a vacuum. It will burn and corrode glass, concrete, even iridium. While it burns and corrodes it releases hydrochloric acid to further corrode inorganic stuff as well as hydrofluoric acid to further corrode and poison organic matter.

Basically it ignites upon exposure to anything that isn't the right kind of fluorine molecule... and corrodes it.

You have to let the fire and corrosion burn itself out, there's no real way to stop it once started.

and we're gonna do what when the ayys invade? not shoot them with a sun gun? not turn them into gray sludge with a fleet of bells? not invade their homeworld in Haunebus?
>>
>>34492217
Ayys won't invade. When is the last time humans were hell bent on taking a chimpanzee troupes territory away from them for humanity's gain? We merely observe them for the sake of record keeping, cataloging the natural world, and sometimes we take one for testing purposes. We never interact with them in any way that's meaningful to us or our species. Even if we did try to interact with them on some kind of equitable level or even footing, the benefit from such interaction would be basically zero.

If they exist, and I'm sure they do, they observe us for science, cataloging the natural world, and sometimes take us for testing reasons for aforementioned s science. There's no point in interacting with us or making war against us in the same way humans don't make war against chimps. Our goals and needs are completely alien and beyond theirs.

Nope, implying anything. Science is what it is, look at it in a dictionary. Enough of faggots implying god exists because because nazis made barbecue fast or things like that. Fucking fanatics.

Well... the moment the very concept of cannons appeared, there has been a natural progression to it. What if the cannon was bigger? What if we used better propellant? What sort of projectile is the best? Someone wrote a book about riding an artillery shell to the moon. You can damn well believe nuclear weapons were factored into things within a quarter of a second after coming into existence, if not even before.

So, it's nothing original, although the specifics of it kind of are. Anything that can be put down on paper, someone will fiddle with. What if we made value X a million times stronger, what about Y? Even if it's all virtual experimentation, scientists have always been the most hardcore 'gun nuts' of all. Engineers are underdogs.

Pic related. The unholy bastard offspring of nuclear physics and the Munroe Effect (Kinky NukexPG-7V action). What's it for? Propulsion for a spaceship.

Everything comes around.

(Rocket) Chemists tried to make rocket propellant out of it. I tell you what.

>>34492006
I do love John Clark's take on it, from his book Ignition, which I recommend to everyone. Wiki's snippet is on point. The wonders of the 50ies and the 60ies at NASA (and every colabs) were all kinds of crazy.

>It is, of course, extremely toxic, but that's the least of the problem.
>It is hypergolic with every known fuel, and so rapidly hypergolic that no ignition delay has ever been measured.
>It is also hypergolic with such things as cloth, wood, and test engineers, not to mention asbestos, sand, and water — with which it reacts explosively.
>It can be kept in some of the ordinary structural metals — steel, copper, aluminum, etc. — because of the formation of a thin film of insoluble metal fluoride which protects the bulk of the metal, just as the invisible coat of oxide on aluminum keeps it from burning up in the atmosphere.
>If, however, this coat is melted or scrubbed off, and has no chance to reform, the operator is confronted with the problem of coping with a metal-fluorine fire.
>For dealing with this situation, I have always recommended a good pair of running shoes.

Die Glocke isn't any kind of mystical bullshit, it was a Uranium-233 breeder fueled by Thorium. There was more than one, and there is official documentation of something similar being unloaded in Argentina after the war.

It was advanced, but the only reason it is such as meme is that the Nazis underestimated the US nuclear project and thus thought it's capture would be some great stride for the US.

>Use energy to create X-rays

>Free neutrons strike thorium nuclei and are absorbed

>>
>>34492522
Also if we did decide we wanted the chimps territories, there isn't a damn thing those chimps could do about it. When you're fighting an enemy that has technology that's so much more advanced than you, it's best to stop thinking of it as a war and more as a natural disasters.

Right, but when it reacts, with something else in a hypergolic reaction, it doesn't need atmosphere to continue burning. It is a more powerful oxidizing agent than pure oxygen.
>>
>>34492522
We don't have to fight the chimps for natural resources, since the do not value them as we do. An alien race interested in the resources of our planet would be a far different scenario, and hopefully a peacful "willing to trade" one.

Look at what happened when europeans realized how much shit is in africa.
>>
>>34502581
An alien race able to cross the gulf of space would have needs and goals totally beyond ours. The natural resources we consider valuable and necessary for a sustainable civilization probably aren't important to them. They probably manufacture the matter they need with the energy they have access to. Remember, enough energy in a small enough unit of space causes subatomic particles to manifest.
>>
>>34492849
>I'm no chemist
You've also never taken a highschool chemistry course.

>but that sounds....odd
All it means is that the molecule is capable of reacting with itself. Imagine sticking two 9v batteries onto each other, the terminals heat up.
It's the same idea, more or less.
>>
>>34502738

Ay lamao, these faggots are within a couple dozen thousand lightyears of this system we are harvesting for resources. Let's send like 12 people, a usb drive, and a transmitter on this spacecraft we made from a 100th of the mass of this asteroid.
Why? Because it's the drop in the bucket in terms of resources and it will net some interesting entertainment in a couple hundred years time. Our predecessors were nice enough to do it for us, so lets do it for ours.

(because we were bored, and it was funny)

>The natural resources we consider valuable and necessary for a sustainable civilization probably aren't important to them.
Carbon, iron, hydrogen, oxygen, mass, propellant.
Physics and chemistry don't change just because you progress beyond a type 2 civilization.

>They probably manufacture the matter they need with the energy they have access to.
Unless they're fucking idiots and somehow managed to progress that far without the ability to think or compare, that would never happen.
C is big. C^2 is bigger, by a lot. It's always more efficient to just find it.

>Remember, enough energy in a small enough unit of space causes subatomic particles to manifest.
Yes... brilliant. Waste LITERALLY quadrillions of times more energy than necessary. Or just send out a rocket and wait a couple decades/centuries. (the wait is only if you're the first to do it. the civ would have invented flow rates and not be retarded).
