I recommend getting as much leverage and purchase over the gun as possible with a high tang grip to the point of being so high in your grip that you interfere with the cycling of the slide, then back off just a little from there.

The P38 guy with his sleeves rolled up isn't that bad for one handed. The recoil is exaggerated because he's shooting a 9mm pistol one handed, but you can see that he gets the sights back on target pretty quickly. In this screenshot, you can see that the empty casing is still airborne (and within arms reach of the gun), and he's already gotten the sights back on target. I see no real issues here.

The Chinaman looks like he only shoots .22's and was borrowing someone's 1911. He suffers from a common problem among his people, cold fish handshake syndrome. He's got to work on that grip strength.
