Bruce Lee carries his nunchucks around to places in his movies, and only really took interest in a special version of nunchucks called tabak-toyok, which had longer chains for range and smaller clubs for making it faster and more concealable. The amount of training you need just to use them without hurting yourself compared to mastering say, the infinitely superior spear, is insane.
