You probably didn't fuck up. If it works, which it most likely will, you got yourself a pretty nice ar, granted you could of gotten yourself a basic bitch ar for half the price. That's probably a pretty expensive upper. I did the same thing, bought a super expensive ar right before the election because I was nearly 100% sure Hillary was going to win. Turns out the gas tube wasn't properly loctite'd and my gas tube came loose without me knowing for the longest time. Still don't know if I fixed it but I made sure to loctite those screws in place. Just my luck I guess. Pic relate.

I have, but I've only used it like 3 times. It looks cool, and it works fine, but I could load 4-5 30rd pmags in the same amount of time it takes to load that bad boy and my thumbs wouldn't hurt so much afterward.

I don't think the upper used makes a big difference just keep,everything as milspec as possible and it's not a bad company. That being said. For,barrels,

For mags I like the D&H black teflon or the Okay surefeeds. Nothing wrong with pmags they just don't come out of pouches so good.
