In this thread, we talk about /k/ related movies that don't get talked about very often or is overlooked.
I'll start, i thought We Were Soldiers was a fantastic movie. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Mel Gibson is kind of a dick but that movie was pretty brutal and definitely up there with my top war movies. Anyone else?

It's a Soviet propaganda documentary but it's not often you see tank battles of that scale put on the screen. There is no real plot, just re-enacting the historical events.

Also, in the topic of documentary-style films.
Tali-Ihantala 1944. It features restored tanks operated by the Finns re-enacting the battles they participated in 70 years earlier.
Why am I focusing on tanks? Well it's because the characters are so flat that the tank is the centre of your watching experience.
