If foreign nations didn't interfere, China would
1. Rush into the Himalayas and cut the neck of northeast India + push the Indians out of their Kashmir positions.
2. Blockade India after crushing their navy. No more oil or imported food for India.
3. Launch air strikes on India's infrastructure.

This would take 3-6 months. Furthermore, China would lose a significant amount of its forces and leave its own coasts vulnerable to Japan/USA.

And what would be the gain? Any real existential threat to India would change the game to MAD, and China has no desire to rule over streetshitters.
China already has enough of those.
