Are there any decent guides on how to paint a rifle without screwing it up? I know that some militaries use tape, cover the rifle, paint it, then take the tape off when they're done. But I would like to paint mine a little bit more " camo ", with flat colors... and I really don't want to screw up a $7,000+ dollar rifle / scope.

just use some rattle cans humbrol or other acrylic makes, let it dry between coats close your dust cover and tape up anything you dont want painted.

Ok. Thanks!
The main thing I was worried about was the scope. I guess I can just tape off the stuff I am worried about. The gun is entirely made out of stainless and aluminum, so I can tear it apart and strip the paint if need be. The scope.. not so much haha.

Depends what you want mane, I did mine with Krylon camo cans and one of those nets that come with those flavorless asian pears and it's kinda sloppy but I still like how it came out.
