So I found an IMBEL marked Pacific Armaments Corp. for $1000 at an LGS. It is more than likely a parts kit gun, but is there a way to tell for sure how well it was put together, and if its good, is it worth $1000?

If it's all metric and the bore is good it's worth it. Matching parts pushes it over.

If it's a nice matching inch kit and the receiver is properly cut for mags then it would still be ok.
