>you need to expand on shotguns, bolt actions, and pistols.
I do have more shotguns, but they're inherited. And I don't think anything could topple the vepr12 from the pedestal it's on. One of my next purchases is a smoothbore 22 so I can use the rat shot for pest birds indoors. That stuff is worthless otherwise. I've knocked down clays on the skeet range when I've borrowed someone elses.
I'll get a lot of milsurp bolt actions and a cz455 trainer at some point here once I have money again.
And I'm not much of a handgun guy, I have wide open spaces so I feel like handguns are a waste of money. I don't enjoy them that much anyway, so that money is far better spent on centerfire rifle ammo.

WHAT IN FUCK IS DONE TO THIS POOR RIFLE? STUPID HICK AMERICAN WITH TEN GALLON HAT AND GIANT PICKUP TRUCK LOOKS AT PERFECTLY FINE SIMONOV KARBIN AND SAYS "NO, RIFLE NEED MORE DUMB SHIT ON IT"?

WHAT IS REASON FOR PISTOL GRIP? IF YOU NEED TO FIRE FROM HIP IN EMERGENCY, NOW HAND IS TWISTED INTO PAINFUL ANGLE AND YOU MISS EVERY ENEMY! LOOK AT WRONG ANGLE OF BAYONET! LOOK AT CHEAP PLASTIC MAGAZINE THAT FEEDS CARTRIDGE LIKE CONSTANTLY JAMMING PEZ CANDY BOX! WHERE DID CLEANING STICK GO?

I HEAR OF 922 LAW IN AMERICA. ADDING PISTOL GRIP TO WEAPON MEANS YOU CHANGE OTHER PARTS. WHAT ELSE YOU FUCK? YOU PUT NEW BOLT EDIFICE? HOW ABOUT BAD FIT RECEIVER COVER FOR CHEAP SCOPE TO SHOW OFF AT HICK PARTY AND NEVER HIT LARGEST SIDE OF BARN?

SURE, IS ONLY YUGOSLAV COPY TYPE BUT IS STILL PROUD DESIGN OF SERGEI SIMONOV. THIS IS LIKE SENDING HIM BIRTHDAY CARD WITH SEVERED OFF THUMB OF DAUGHTER IN ENVELOPE. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SERGEI! I PISS ON ALL YOU CREATE!" LARGE MOUND FORMS OVER SIMONOV'S GRAVE BY CONSTANT TUMBLING OF HIS ANGRY CORPSE. IS FAULT OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU.

RIFLE WAS FINE BEFORE YOU FUCK IT. NOW IS TRASH. MAYBE YOU CHECK IN GARAGE AND ORIGINAL BOLT EDIFICE AND WOOD ARE STILL THERE. MAYBE IS NOT TOO LATE TO KEEP RIFLE SOMETHING NOT SHAMEFUL TO TAKE TO FIRING RANGE. TAKE SHIT OF GOAT AWAY AND COULD STILL BE GOOD WEAPON

My brother has a Martini-Henry that he got "untouched" from IMA. We've shot it a bunch using old Kynoch rounds and formed brass from 24-gauge shotshells with .45-70 bullets.

Not him, but I have one.

Absolutely heavy as fuck. Weighs as much as an RPK. My stick mag is incredibly unreliable, yet the drum functions flawlessly. Trigger pull is about a gorillion pounds and wears my finger out quickly. Nowhere decent to get a handhold on. Very fun to shoot, I bust clays at 50 yards pretty easily.

Mine isn't that pretty though. Need to get a nicer stock. Also planning on painting it glossy black because the grey park is ugly as sin

If all the pieces are there, I don't see why not. The actual action is solid and robust. The main thing you'd have to watch for is pitting on and in the barrel. Slugging the bore is a good idea, but be aware that MHs have a really long throat, so the bore diameter is slightly different at the muzzle than at the end of the chamber. Headspacing is something to check, too.

Also, I'd think about whether you want to drop the extra money for a cleaned up version. Cleaning out old yak grease is a lot easier than cosmoline and then you have a rifle you personally restored. One issue you may run into (though I'm not sure about the cleaned rifles) is the fore-ends often have wood rot at the reinforcement bar on the bottom. It's easy to fix with a bit of wood filler/putty.

I was that way till the vepr12, now I have a passion for it. It's especially fun to shoot slugs from because of the flash alone. I've had cars slow down on the road with the drivers going WTF at dusk.
Also, shooting clays is super fun regardless of your caring about them. That's excuse enough to own at least one and get a lot of shooting in.

Why do so many people on /k/ seem to skip buying optics of any sort for their ARs and other tacticool guns? Obviously, it's a personal decision, but I always try to get a quality optic for any serious use gun.

This is what I keep in my room. Too lazy to go out to the safes to get everything out. There's another 30 or 40 things out there.

I've got optics on everything that'll take them except for, like, five I think.
I keep meaning to get those sorted out but then gun deals keep popping up.

Not your dads guns. Just yours on the bed.
>>

9/10 very well rounded collection, I'd only suggest some smaller, subcompact carry guns, maybe a .32 or .25 mouse gun if that's more your style

This is a very confusing photo.

>AICS chassis rifle with a Schmidt and Bender optic
>XD
>P22
>10/22 with an ACOG and RMR
>Bushmaster ORC with CAA garbage furniture and missing the rear pivot pin...but with an EOTech 512

Thanks. I think you have similar tastes to me, we just started in different places. A lot of the things in your pic are on my list, and you have the exact AR style I want too.
If I had a little more money to throw around, I'd have gotten a vepr in 6.5 grendel too since wolf is importing ammo cheap and it seems like an interesting round to fire. I'd be at 6 aks in 6 different calibers and still no 762x39. That won't go on forever though.

This is what I have, except I've added an Aimpoint PRO to the AR. My gun fund is growing again, I'm between added adjustable night sights to the USP45 Tactical or starting a 20 inch AR build. What say you, /k/?

Mine is actually a terry but its all the same. Yes i like them. Since they are repoping the mags its a brand new gun to me. I only had one mag before and it was almost worn out and caused some probs. Wilkinson mags were $135ish but now wilkinson is selling the mags cheap and ive stocked up.

Why can't mossberg make 500s with short barrels AND wood furniture? It's either
>wood furniture and durr barrel or
>short barrel and poly furniture
It's not that big of a deal, but it is annoying since even Remington offers what I want as the '870 hardwood home defense'
