I got lucky it wasn't broke, that tray slammed down hard as fuck

That gunner later that day loaded a link in backwards and broke the mk19

A lot of our people just suck, and view qual as a yearly dread. Most don't get to shoot enough to be proficient or calm about it. I had one of my soldiers tell me he thought he zeroed good enough to qual. His target looked like a sponge. He tried to go over my head when I forced him back out to the line to re zero as 'it took to long and wasn't worth it'. Some of it has to do with first training locations too, and the fact for the longest time we just people through, allowing them to be happy with bare minimum

Drop mag. one more bullet in mag. insert, rack, aim shoot.
They don't get a second round for their mag until the second day.

I fucking die. Body armor isn't some god mode invincibility to death. It is hedging your bets against likely shots to vital organs. It seems when God was making our bodies he included an asston of weak point.


Wearing body armor. To practice in because the thickness of the carrier absolutely changes how your shoulder and aim. Is just plain smart. If someone does have a ND down range or while you'r out changing targets. It very likely could prevent your death. We wear ear pro and eye pro. If you have bought it, why would you not include chest pro?

SKS has a freefloat firing pin just like an AR, if the pin gets stuck forward then it's going to fire when going into battery. This means it can also slamfire on you. This is why you always point guns in a safe direction, usually down range, when releasing the bolt.

The almighty dollar works wonders, but just because you drop 40,000 into something/someone doesn't mean it'll produce expertise. My units thought I was weird because I'd try to get to every range running, like once a month trips. They didn't understand the whole practice makes perfect thing. IN military body armor the flag is an ID for the soldier nationality or faction and the bloodtype is only if you are knocked out and you need blood ASAP.
