I remember reading about 4.6x33mm years ago and then I tried to look it up again months ago and it's like it's fucking disappeared from the internet. I even remember the slanted tip rounds and everything. Where the hell did the wikipedia page go?

So, what are your opinions on my questions?

Would a homemade 223 spoon tipped bullet create as much/more damage on soft tissue (by tumbling/yaw) than a hollow point, while still offering more penetration?

Honestly it's hard to say. There's so little information out there on this caliber that I don't know how accuracy would be affected. As far as tumbling? It can be as effective as hollow points - look at 7N6.
