Holy shit
>>34459645
Good show.
Nazis are eternal losers and modern day losers worship them.
>>34459088
*Takes your country* I didn't need that cruiser anyway *seethes in impotent rage*
>>34459645
...Words fail me.
That they weren't packed up by the Nazis and driven into the woods to disappear after they surrendered is a miracle.
>>34459802
I wonder how long they would be able to hold out with support and a seasoned garrison?
>>34459304
I hereby award you with a Knights Cross, the highest award for military valor, for bravely fleeing from a photo of a coastal battery dating back to the late 1800s.

Germany conquered Norway within a week.
Look at the map. If you dont understand why this happened then maybe read a book on naval warfare.
>>34460644
After reading a book on naval warfare, I've concluded that Germans aren't very good at it.
>>34460659
Mustve been an American book. Those things are worthless. Also, way to miss the point lardo.
>>34460665
>way to miss the point lardo
The point that Germany has -literally- never been good at conducting naval warfare? The only thing to understand here is that trying to sail a flotilla past a shore battery without doing even cursory intelligence gathering is stupid as fuck. Just another example of Prussian arrogance more concerned with pomp and regalia than actually winning against a powerful adversary.
The fact that you try to use "American" as derogatory shows just how pathetically delusional you are. You'd learn orders of magnitude more from an American book than a German book, considering America has actually waged a successful naval campaign.
I'd read a German book if I wanted to know how to scuttle a boat but not much else.

More like two months, but who's counting
>>34460754
>he still doesnt understand the concept of a bottleneck
Do you Americans learn to read maps in school?
>>34460763
holy shit, are you proud of that? hahahahaha
>america has never fallen
oh but who's keeping track
>>34460644
I'll just leave this here.
>>34459701
Definitely this.
>>34459088
Just watched Kongens Nei last night, the Blucher sinking scene was great.
>>34461185
I'm well aware of the concept of a bottleneck, I just have no idea what would compel the Germans to try and sail a group of warships through one without figuring out whether the known defensive positions were manned or not.
Stupid?
Arrogant?
Both?
>>34461296
It was also impressive to see after that the actor playing the colonel at the fort looks remarkably like the man himself.
>>34460644
it happened because the Germans sailed straight into a heavily fortified bottleneck where their cruisers couldn't maneuver. It would be the naval equivalent of attack the maginot line head on. The German surface navy was always incompetent and always will be.
>>34461185
Once again, the Germans knew the bottleneck was there yet they decided to sail into anyway
>>34459088
>implying your not a Lighthouse and I'm a US Navy ship, one of the most powerful vessels to ever sail the seas, and i'm accompanied four destroyers, an aircraft carrier, two battleships and various other fleet support ships, not to mention 2 of the most powerful nuclear submarines,.....
Heh, your move mister Lighthouse
>>34461210
No. Just correcting the guy who said it was one week
>a German cruiser got sunk by a fortress older than the German state
>>34459701
>Jesus was an eternal loser and modern day losers worship him.
>>34463190
Yeah, pretty much. But then the modern day goat fuckers have their own guy too!

The Germans treated their fellow Aryans and Nordic cousins with respect.
