it's more complex then that, germany had little fuel to run things with, also it didn't have money. Wars are fought on finances. Who ever has more money wins. Look at usa it had the worst army at the start of ww2 with little advancement in technology since ww1 then they lost a battle and they became the most advanced army in the world at the time they improved very quickly as well. I think USA was one of the few armies to have a semi automatic rifle for the most of the troops rest of the world had bolt actions

If the Germans had bombed British airfields instead of the cities then the RAF would have just moved to airfields outside the range of German Bombers/fighter escort. Pop history makes the Battle of Britain look closely fought, when in reality the Germans were very far off from achieving their goals.

That is exactly what the Luftwaffe attempted for as long as they were capable of doing so. But they failed. Badly.

The Krauts needed to have proper strategic bombers, invest in air superiority, and focus on defense. They fucked up by invading most of Europe in a few years span, spreading their men and equipment fairly thinly, having to deal with constant sabotage because people don't exactly want to live under them. They should have waited, built their military and they could've won a defensive war assuming they also weren't complete niggers when it came to international diplomacy.

I remember reaching about some big old tank that could only be reloaded by splitting the barrel and sliding a round down the muzzle. Think it was a similar idea to the sturmtiger, flinging huge HE rounds to blow up fortifications.
