I have a Ruger 77, SP-101, and Redhawk, all recent manufacture. The first two have pretty nice triggers but the last's DA is heavy as fuck, though smooth. SA also a bit heavy but manageable.

doesnt matter for more modern rimfires with a firing pin stop. Older ones where the pin peens the chamber and when the pins were not as strong it is more so a problem. My model 60 i have almost no problem with dry firing it, my 1941 winchester model 74 I have more of a problem with. The firing pin in that thing is origional to the gun as far as i can tell and is super long and thin so very fragile compared to a modern .22

if the share act passes it would change the definition of AP ammo from essentially whatever the ATF wants it to be to ammo that is designed with the intent to defeat armor. So mild steel core ammo like 7n6 and the steel core 7.62x39 would be importable from that perspective although not sure if there would be any interference from sanctions. You dont see any new imports of 54r even though it still is able to be brought in.
