Hey 4chan! I've found a few swords that have obvious Japanese designs, and look like they're a set. I'm having trouble figuring out what the names of them are, and thought /k/ would be the best place to seek help
I'm posting the other two in the comments here

The forward curving handle is something I've only seen on wallhangers, and the Harmon looks way too uniform to be real. My guess is stainless steel with a laser etch Harmon, probably bought at a flea market, or East Meets West at your local mall.

What type of material is wrapped around the handle? Does it feel like polyester or nylon? What type of steel are the blades made from? What type of metal is the blade guard (tsuba) made from? The answer to these questions are not necessarily germane to your question - I'm just curious. Also, I or someone else can answer your question more precisely if you post the overall length of the swords.
Traditionally, in order of shortest to longest length, the names of these types of swords are tanto, wakizashi, katana and odachi.
Hopefully the information provided above will prove ample to begin your search.
Also, the curved handle design is a modern, fantasy design popularized by contemporary anime. The following link provides more detailed infornation on this "jintachi" design of reverse handle katana.

Thanks, I knew they were most likely mall katanas. I looked around on the blade and never found the typical "CHINA" stamped on the blade, which was a bit odd

The lengths are as follows:
For the shortest one, 21' overall, 12 1/2' blade
For the midway one, almost 31 1/2' overall, 20 1/2' blade
For the largest one, about 40' overall, 28 1/4' blade

> never found the CHINA stamp on the blade...
It's probably on the tang, hidden under the handle.
