Not including Hi-Point or anything made in Japan, what would /k/ consider the worst handgun ever?
>>34444057
Depends on what you mean. Is it something that made it into production and service?
Or do chinese mystery pistols count?
>>34444069
production or experimental
Gyrojet, Dardrick, HK UCP, .45GAP Glocks
Maybe not the worst handguns ever, but they'd be in the top 20.
>>34444057
production wise, from USA, jimenez.
and hi point being a "bad" gun is just a meme. they're cheap, ugly, bulky and heavy, but they're (fairly) reliable, strong, accurate and safe.
>>34444057
Glock
>>34444057
anything by Rohm, couldn't even kill a Brady
>>34444319
>gyrojet
If shooting .45 cal slugs at 1600 fps with the recoil of .22 isn't good then you dont belong here. At least the gyrojet has a advantageous design unlike the dardick.
Anything bryco

I think for it to be considered a gun it should actually be able to fire without jamming anon.

Oh, it can fire. Just not cycle afterwards.

Not even considering the fact that 90% of /k/ is noguns i just assume there is only a handful of people on /k/ that have ever shot one let alone own one.
I personally keep one in my tackle box for fishing, in my garage by the work bench, and then just one to randomly shoot mostly to show people they aren't complete shit. I got all three for less than 200 dollars.
That said they aren't fun to shoot at all, but they go bang every time.
Worst commercial handgun ever made coming through
>>34444057
>worst
Hi-point wouldn't even be in the running.
>>34444057
The Glock for sure.
>>34445641
12-yo peaces of shit like you ruined this board.
>>34444057
The original Firelance, maybe.
Hi-point? What?
>>34444997
That not even close to the worst.
THose will actually function.
Now the Sedco SP22? Those are the worst.
>>34444057
5 shot revolver that the trigger only locks the cylinder
>>34444057
the liberator 45 single shot "handgun"

What the fuck
Also does anyone have that webm of some brazillian pistol firing when its shaken a bit too much
>>34447863
fuck it theres a youtube vid

>the worst handgun ever
GLOCK
Not because it's a bad gun, but because it ruined the industry. It made cheap guns that have no increase in resale mainstream and now everybody is making cheap plastic cookie cutter toys that your dog could eat with no desire for craftsmanship.
>>34447876
>jams after misfire
>>34444057
anything made by Glock
Something french, obviously
>>34444057
Hi-Points aren't even bad tho. My sister has a 45 Hi-Point and it is freaking perfect. No jams, great accuracy, and it is cheap enough that a college student can buy one. (Though I have no idea why she got a 45 when 9mm ammo is so much cheaper.)
Lorcin was facing multiple lawsuits for their unsafe garbage when they closed their doors.
>>34444057
Like everyone else is saying, Jennings, Jiminez, and Cobra.
Hi-Point is not even remotely close to being the worst handgun ever. You have fallen victim to gun snob propaganda.
>>34448527
add Raven
>>34448465
She obviously wanted the round with stopping powah. Pic related is my fuddy five that cost at least 3 hi points

Forgotten weapons recently showed a large frame sig pistol that some guy in the usa made illegally and shittily made out of low quality cast parts had shit machining and other micky mouse fuxes because they lacked, the skill, tools or material to make it proper.
>>34444319
Spanish "Ruby" would probably be among top 20 as well. Large pistol to be just .32 ACP, made by shit-ton of Spanish manufacturers (mostly during World War 1) without any spare part compatibility in between them and that includes even mags. Quality-wise depending manufacturer they vary from rough to shitty, but mostly still work(ed) as intended. As a bonus the basic design used was an obvious patent infraction to Browning's patents.

Sounds like a regular US made Sig tbqh

I just don't like Hi-Point because any gun I can't field strip and autistically clean the chamber and any moving parts of makes me uneasy. The military will do that to you.

Delet this
Hi-point is America's answer to cheap but reliable slav-shit, and it excels. It is ugly as sin, goes for a Ben Franklin at most pawn shops, but goes bang every time and is tough as a 2 dollar steak.
>>34450002
>>34448527
You know, thinking about it, is there a cheapass gun that you can properly field strip and clean? Like, one step above Hi-Point but still that cheap and easy to disassemble for cleaning?
