I want a big double stack that has an actual rail for my nightstand gun. I'd prefer it to be able to be kept cocked and locked. I was thinking about a USP, but this video turned me off.

I emailed h&k demanding a new magazine to replace my literally 20 year old magazine, and they said it wasnt covered in the warranty. I had to send the magazines in for new springs every 2000 rounds.

Im selling my h&ks ive heavily invested to, then buy out a full line of other pistols and literally call them the best pistols ever after like 2 weeks. I shoot 3 gun so I'm a pistol expert.

When I was a teenager I worked for an FFL under the table during the AWB period. He used to buy these polymer hi caps (HK, Glock, etc) and he'd have me take a dremel to grind off the restricted marks, then he'd sell them as pre-ban for pre-ban prices.

Old dude died before the Newtown shit, and that's a shame. His crooked ass would have loved hawking shit for 10x the price.

I lived down the street from his store, a few times a week after school I'd go help him out, then help him at gun shows. Probably 2-3 times a month he'd get in a large shipment of magazines and he'd have me spend a whole afternoon removing restricted markings. Illegal but he said Clinton and Bush were cocksuckers so he didn't give a fuck.

Also did it with STANAGS. Take some JB Weld and put it over the restricted marks, sand it down, and spray paint the mags. He had a stamp that I'd take and hammer down with a pre-ban date. I think he was paying 2-3 a magazine and he'd sell them for $75 each.

You can get fully steel magazines for every USP model except the full size .40 caliber, which appears to be what the gun in the video is. Not that it's normal for brass case ammunition to get hung up inside a polymer HK magazine, of course. Also, plastic USP magazines typically sell for under $30 online, not $40.

Early Gen 4 Glocks had an unresolvable problem with the ejector mounting boss. I did the same thing he did because for about a year nothing would fix it and I figured they never would.

The polymer ones do go on sale a little lower than that ($26-27 range) pretty regularly, so keep an eye on sites like CDNN, Midway, Top Gun Supply, etc., even smaller sellers on Gunbroker will offer NIB mags in lots of 3 or 4 sometimes for a discount. The HK webshop has the all steel 9mm mags marked down to $62, which is still unreasonable, but at least you won't spend another gun's worth of money on just a few magazines.
