Anyone else going to celebrate the fourth tomorrow by picking up a new pew pew? I'm going to get a maverick 88 tomorrow because I've wanted a fuck around scattergat.

I was going to stop buy a local gun shop tomorrow and see if they've got any deals. Haven't looked online for deals though, anyone have any they care to share?

Nitride BCG with tactical CH, autistic patch and free shipping for $79.99.

Was thinking of it, but they will be closed.
And I have 1500+ rounds of M200 blanks to do something with..
Not that the 101 year old guy next door will care, he sleeps with a Garand by his bed. But the "I'm with her"s next door might freak a bit if I did a mag dump.
Not that I hate them, they do keep a rather tidy yard.
Meh will probably keep it to some USN signal flares, and Souza at annoying volumes.
purchased a C96 frame. might buy a case of Garand food too.
I bought a holster for my Glock 19 finally. Bravo Concealment had a really good deal on something that was actually compatible with my setup, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Missed buying the stuff I needed for my Scorpion Evo, sadly.
I'd probably poke my head in at the local gunstore tomorrow if they were open. Kinda looking around at .22 handguns now.
Here's a good deal for plates I just found.

They're probably closed. Many are. My LGS is closed.

Have fun with that shit. JoeSalter always got some good shit though; I've bought from him in the past.
I was looking at a bergmann frame that was damaged but it went for too much. shame too.

>Have fun with that shit.
It's going to be a long and/or expensive project. Step one is to find an M712 magazine catch.

Why must you tempt me into building another AR, I was trying to save money.
But a lighter weight AR would be nice to make.
>>34440165
I just ordered all the parts for my AR I've been putting off buying since I picked up the lower last year thanks to the freedom day sales.
>>34440389
Check eBay too. Parts pop up there sometimes, sometimes really cheap.
I resell gun parts but I don't have any Broomhandle stuff ATM. Might get it once or twice a year though. Not very common to get that stuff at good prices anymore.

I bought this baby for $195 yesterday at a "4th of July weekend" Gun Show. I was so happy to finally get my hands on a Mosin and go to clean it to shoot it this week, that I forgot to ask about the history of how he got it and shit.
BTW it's a M91/30 made in 1942 with all matching serials except the bayonet has different serials.

How much is ammo now? 40 cents a round?
>>34440744
I just went to academy by my house and it was $10 USD for 20 rounds. .50 cents is a bit much but I plan on buying in bulk, I just like to have some ammo on hand always...

^I plan to get a case eventually
It was either this nugget or a Type 99 Arisaka that was worn to shit and I thought about ammo because I like to go shooting every paycheck.
>>34440668
i remember in 2012 i paid 75 for my mosin
>>34440915
Did you get your nugget at the Round Rock gun show this past weekend? I expected it to be a shitshow so I didn't go. Kind of a shame I missed out on an Arisaka if so.
>>34440923
Not that guy, but I went.
It was cool, way better than the belton one.
There was a lot of nice milsurp but it was all uniformly overpriced.
They had almost 0 AKs at the entire show for some reason.
I'm saving my shekles for the Waco show.
Just put a couple mosins up on Texas gun trader in the killeen area though; I may just bring those to the waco show and sell to some fudds there.
>>34440921
I started late into the game as I turned 18 in 2012. I only just now started to get the income which I can afford to get guns and shoot them. I did however get an SKS-M from my dad when I turned 18 and put some ~900 rounds through.
>>34440923
I live near Dallas, it was the Lewisville gun show. It was the first gun show I've been to and I got there with like an 1 hour and a half to look for a nugget. I went to look for nuggets before going online. I only saw 2 this being the better deal.
I also got a Polish AK mag that was in near pristine condition for my SKS... God if only I had more cash...
>>34440977
understandable. i still have that mosin laying around. i buy gear guns, attachments everything and will sell them a week later but i will never ever sell that mosin
>>34440984
I learned from people to never sell/trade gun, especially mil surps. As we can see how the mosin's turned out. From $12 to over $300 a piece. And that is not mentioning surplus ammo.
That is why I went with my gut and got the nugget, people will always be making ammo for it. But not for the Type 99.
I got a m24/47 at Cabela's of all places for 275 plus tax. Considering the lgs has a shitty one with a crack in the stock for 350 I'm pretty happy.
