Would anyone care to elucidate on the constant hatred for War Thunder around here? Simulator, and to an extent Realistic is middle-of-the-road in regards to historic and technical authenticity. It's no DCS, Steel Beasts or IL2, but it's not so terrible.

Meanwhile, Germans have overpowered laser guns that kill everything they look funny at, even a whole point of battle rating higher, and Americans are the ultimate machines of death, both impenetrable and extremely well armed.

Honestly it would range from surplus jets and helicopters to ultralights rigged from bedsheets and lawn mowers.

Me and a couple friends built an ultralight from a parts kit and threw in a 5mm "cannon" for laughs.
