We've had a few at the Az shoots.
"Competent but overwhelmed" was a good way to put it.

Even the five or six women shooters were pretty damned good, but they were used to low vel target loads or airshit.

Handling was mechanical, but once the piece went off it was hilarious.

I had to walk away from a group from NHK dicking about with a M203, because every time it went off, they fucking about dropped it.

I've offered a lot of Japanese arms to asian folks, and they seem more interested in US or German stuff, even though they had some really neat guns. Type 96 and 99 LMG, etc. I still have a Type 2 44 Shiki., and had a smattering of Type 25 variants.
