Why'd you let the last one die?
Got some new stuff.
Just bought a 1937 battle dress tunic for casual wear over a hoodie or something
Did I make a good choice?
>>34432513
Sounds good to me fambula.
Pair it with classic dark blue jeans (none of that stonewashed skinny fit bullshit) and you'll have a bretty good old-timey laborer outfit.

Otherwise nice late 70s/early 80s uniform.

As shitty and impractical as it is, I honestly think the USAF blue/grey tigerstripe pattern looks cool (at least in that "1990s idea of state-of-the-art urban camo from the future" sort of way). This especially applies to the Tactical Flight Duty Uniform because of all that Velcro brand Velcro.
What's wrong with me?

Guessing you might now decent places to get surplus R.O.K kit, patches etc?
if i have shoe size 41-41.5, will size 9R bata jungle boots fit me well? advisors type?
>>34438152
41 to 41.5 is like a 10 1/2 to 11 US shoe size.
>>34435907
Urban patterns are cool though.
And for AF/Navy guys who sit indoors all day, why not give them something sci-fi looking anyway?
>>34437858
Them freshly shaved legs
>>34438208
Wtf, every site says different things, 9r being 39,40,41,42 and 43
Any one know the names of these camo patterns? Ukraine has been comming out with some interesting designs recently.

Assuming this is from Urban warrior, very cool photo of the pattern.
I'm convinced that the "urban" m81 was just more of an after thought, or second choice rather than "experimental". I've spoken to numerous USMC vets that were in operation urban warrior, and all of them swear nothing in that pattern was officially issued. From what I gathered from them, they were "Atlantco" or whatever (Rothco now iirc) brand that were given out when Urban-T uniforms ran short.
That would make sense considering how nobody has any, because I would assume they remained un-badged, given out quickly to soldiers in need of "proper" urban attire.
>>34439983
Yeah I'm fairly certain it was just off-the-shelf stuff, or they ordered it from Atlantco. Some police/SWAT/ used the same uniforms around the same period from the late 80's-early 00's. Wouldn't be hard to recreate then since they still make them.
Always reminded me of HECU in Half-Life, or the security guys in They Live.
There was also a rarer reversible woodland/two-color urban BDU uniform, which I only have this one crappy photo of being worn.
I found some decent Urban Warrior pics I've never seen before, so I'm posting a few. Turns out the Royal Dutch and British Marines who attended were also given T-pat uniforms.

Thanks for the help with Belgiboo camo my dude
>pretty sure it was you at least
>>34440213
The ELBE? They're pretty common IIRC, I got a surplus one a few years ago for like, 20$ at an army navy store.
>>34440253
I never seen ELBE in any of the surplus store I been at lately.
I saw this weird camo jacket in a surplus store and I had no idea what it was.
It looked like woodland, but a smaller print and it had red in it.
Also had a weird backpack vest thing attached to it.
>>34440320
I'll sell you mine.
For one bullet.
>>34440415
Nah, I rather get lucky on ebay or some surplus may sell it later on.
>>34440108
this really activates my almonds cause i remember someone selling a urban woodland shirt with a sfodd patch attached. obv it could be fake but damn that would be cool if it was real
>>34440942
>>34440331
Alpenflage?
Does anyone have any links to this camo test I saw a while back on one of these threads? It was a bunch of guys in different camo (including desert) innawoods under shade and sun.
Not milsurp or really camo, but I had a question that I think would best be answered here, apologies for the annoyance.
I've got these cheap but comfy pants I got accustomed to hiking innawoods, but they are this dark grey color. Trying to figure out if they'd be absolutely retarded if I need to bug out, or if it would be reasonable under OD green tops to attempt camo as rocks/boulders.
Pic related, not me but the same pants face blacked out out of respect.

why are there so many pictures of awkward-looking fuckers in alpenflage?
>>34444583
Swede conversions (especially the shitty ones, as most tend to be) always trigger the crap out of me. Why even bother when there are tons of affordable reproduction Wehrmacht/SS uniforms on eBay?
>>34444692
It looks cool but is impossible to pull off.
>>34444810
It's awkward to do but rolling the sleeves on them looks nice.
With full gear of course.
>>34442619
Yes that's it.
Should I have gotten it?
Those actually look nicer than the Jap ones.
welp i missed the fucking fleetfarm sale. east german helmets for $4.50...
>>34442521
Not just normal Tavors or galils either. They produce them in 5.45 since it's alot more common and iirc the Tavor is only in expiremental stage and the paratroopers are the only guys using them rn.
>tfw jeitai on the way
>>34446034
...I like it.
>>34449459
>5.45
Disgusting.
How did I do for 30$?
>>34450026
so-so
Finally find a couple of pics of the Alpenflage flak vests being worn and it's with TAZ 90.
Still have no idea if it was worn over or under the jacket or if it was a specialty item.
Beautiful country though
>>34446053
if it was sub 25 bucks
>>34440108
Are there any T-MOUT t- pattern reproductions available?
I would really like to get one for the novelty.
>>34442619
Where is a good cheap place to buy alpenflage?
I found one online that is very affordable at 24 dollars for the whole combo but the reviews are low. Where else should I look?
>>34450420
No sadly, even the Chinese repros from the 2000's go for at least half of what the originals go for which is ~$500 for a coat/trousers.
It's strange, for a seemingly simple pattern on the simple BDU cut you'd think there'd be more companies reproducing it. Maybe they didn't think it would sell. I'm sure collectors and /k/ommandos alike would, like you said, eat up new production repros for the novelty. People have been fighting for whatever scraps show up since th 90's.
>>34450472
Honestly I think I could probably pay some company to create the fabric for it if I could get accurate stencils for the camouflage but I can't find those either.
>>34450743
Wait until I get home from work, I might have something for you.

anywhere to get russian/soviet camo jackets/parkas/pants shipped from within the US? been wanting to buy some shit for ages but can't be arsed waiting 2-3 months/paying out the ass for shipping from russian federation etc.
>>34438152
I wear 27 in East German jackpots but wear a 9 in US sizes, though I usually size down to 8 1/2
>>34449989
What's with that weird pale green paint on the stock?
It's the one thing that's always irked me about your jew Kalash.
>>34453458
I always assumed it was just from wear.
Also I can;t (easily) sell the actual AK, because of the change in de-ac laws. Damn shame too because I want to buy a rifle.
>>34453545
>can't even sell broken guns
At least you live in a tolerant, multicultural society
>>34453973
I was in Germany recently and you know what, I liked it. Plus I only saw five people in headscarves and one black guy which is a marked differenece from where I live right now.

Times have changed. The focus now is on religion and race. I can throw my lot in with muslim apologists who believe in some insane homogeneous society or with nationalists (of which I am one myself) who, admittedly, still maintain some of what you're alluding to. Not enough for me to be concerned though, gay bashing is very 90's.
I work at a surplus shop and i showed this dbu to my manager because i thought it was weird, and he said its from marine force recon, and that the top pockets were moved to the arms, and the lower pockets to the breast, then added velcro to it,
