This and my sks are tied for my favourite guns currently. In the process of doing the magazine drop free bolt mod, and a steel vented hand guard install. And removal of the bayonet so I can hunt with it (BC law) plus it's already front heavy as fuck

I really don't want to pay $180 for the Sterling 40-rounders. Eventually I'm going to buy a couple of 40-round p-mags and convert those, since they actually have lines on the magazine showing where to cut and file down.
