I have a contego as well. Well, had, I lost it late last year and I'm still hopeful it might show up somewhere. I used to carry the contego almost exclusively. I liked the manual action over the auto adamas since I could close it with the flick of the wrist, and I technically can't carry the infidel thanks to Texas dagger laws.

Since I started carrying the adamas, it's alright if a little heavy. If I'm wearing sports shorts or loose scrubs it will tend to pull them down. Otherwise I like it. It holds an edge like crazy, I have beat on that thing and it still gets sharp with a little stropping. I've sharpened it maybe twice over the few years I've had it.
