The main problem with airsoft, is that almost everything you learn from it can and will get you killed in a real firefight.
It teaches extremely bad habits, like for example bad cover choice, wrongly estimating safe distance from the enemy, absolutely no ammo conservation, not planning and preparing an escape route for if things go bad.
There are many more, these are just the first ones that come to mind.
.Sure you could claim that its good for training something or another, but for every good thing you learn, you learn 2 bad things. The fact that airsoft players try to deny this does not really help.
