In terms of civilian casualties and collateral damage, an absolute bloodbath. the second it starts NK is going to do three things: 1. Immediately hit Seoul and other SK population centers with everything they've got 2. Kill everyone currently in their concentration camps and try to erase any evidence they existed 3. Enact whatever their rumored "end of the world" plan is, probably whatever nuclear weapons they have on whatever SRBMs and MRBMs they have aimed at the biggest population centers in range. We really don't want to start a war with them, and they don't want to start one with us.

It would take about 2-3 days to full route the enemy. It would take maybe a week to secure the entire country. Little to no casualties on the U.S. side, and a shit ton of defectors for the NK side. Hardly any of there soldiers would fight, and when they do, they'd get mopped out of existence. Most people posting in this thread are faggots who don't understand how shit NK actually is militarily lol, and no China won't get involved. If that were to happen China would easily collapse as well once U.S. got mobilized industrially.

As soon as the US starts attacking, the DPRK opens with a conventional/nerve agent bombardment of Seoul (maybe with a nuke or two, maybe not). Next moves: nuke Iwakuni (a few 10s of kt on a Musudan), nuke troop concentrations in ROK, maybe nuke Guam. Depending on how many warheads they have, Tokyo and/or Osaka might eat a nuke each as well. Call it 6-10 warheads flying, taking out military concentrations + 2-3 major cities with a a few hundred thousand to a million casualties each. There'll probably be a few dozen long-range missiles with nerve agents going out too, because why not.
The missile forces are road mobile or kept safe in mountain bunkers, so while a US alpha strike might get *some* of them, there will be plenty that survive to retaliate.

And yeah, then the US steamrolls the rest of the country because the DPRK conventional forces aren't great. The end of Best Korea, and everyone starts asking why the US decided millions of dead east asians was a fair price to pay.

US and South Korea just shell the fuck out of the North for a couple of days until they surrender.

The vast majority of North Korean guns can't hit Seoul. Koksan can't hit all of Seoul, and it can't even hit Seoul at all with non RAP shells. Koksan also has a blazing fast fire rate of 2...every 5 mins.
