What is the SCAR

Because they went directly to the FNC making it fairly obsolete, it would have been a waste of time and money continuing work on it
>>
>>34396949
An interesting copy of the AR 18
>>
Because the FAL has its roots in late 1930s tech and they moved on to more modern and better designs

1.)Rotating Bolt is superior to a tilting bolt
2.) It's called the FN CAL and the FNC
3.) Links related

No thanks.

Because the FAL is really not that fantastic from a 21st century perspective.

>tilting bolt
>4 MOA is considered good for the FAL

Except Imbel isn't shit and uses licensed FN Tooling, therefore you are dumb as bricks.

Are those hue rifles even good?

Taurus uses Beretta tooling, and look at their reputation.

Granted, they have improved under new leadership. But that shows tooling isn't everything.

Why is tilting bolt bad for Muh MOA?

Less consistent lockup.
When a gun cycles, the lockup is always a little bit different, subtly, but enough that it'll matter for consistency in accuracy.

Making a rotating bolt consistent in it's lockup is easy, something like a an AR15 has 8 locking lugs in a radial pattern and as a result, the lockup is very consistent.

On a tilting bolt, the lockup will ultimately always be kind of sloppy and it's pretty difficult to make the gun lock in an especially consistent manner. It's a working system but ultimately you'll always have mediocre accuracy, and on top of that, the bolt will generally lock into recesses in the receiver, which requires you to have a receiver made out of strong enough steel.
On something like an AR15, the bolt locks into an extension of the barrel, thus you can make the receiver out of aluminum and it doesn't affect lockup.
