HMS Vengeance - I like just how literal it is
>Sole purpose is to literally wreak vengeance upon another state with nuclear hellfire
Warspite is pretty good. There is great amusement to be had just rooting around Wikipedia looking at lists of obscure Victorian cruisers and their assortment of resonantly imperial names.
More battle honours than you can shake a stick at

I personally always liked the convention of naming ammunition ships after volcanoes.

HMS Dreadnought (even though that name has become a bit cliche)
HMS Warspite
HMS Conqueror (Argies get shrekked)
HMS Invincible (rip)
HMS Indomitable
HMS Ark Royal
HMS Victory
HMS Vanguard
And so on.

I like Onslow. I know it's actually named for the Earl of Onslow but the idea of something dogged, determined, and imperturably and indomitably grinding on against the odds as "On Slow" is an appealing one. It suits too as the WW1 Onslow was badly damaged in Jutland and only just managed to make it back to port in heavy seas after losing its tow multiple times.

In-defeat, not in-de-feat. As for why it's defatigable rather than defeatable, it's a holdover from earlier English like how we say "just deserts" instead of "just deserves"

'de' doesn't always indicate a reversal of something. That isn't an irregularity of English, but Latin.
Indefatigable just means, can't be tired.
