I like my sig if you're into something a little different in the 1911 market. Has been utterly reliable so I bought two. A tac ops and nitron model. Holsters can be a bitch though if you don't specify sig 1911. They have some of the best internals, the sear for example is made by EGW. They are a series 80 so the trigger has a small take up but you can remove the series 80 guts and put a spacer in.
>>
>>34394448
>They are a series 80
Absolutely unacceptable.

If you can't afford a Les Baer get a Dan Wesson, if you can't afford a Dan Wesson get a Springfield Mil Spec. Also I am thoroughly enjoying this jewish trick.
>>
>>34394632
Why not just get a glock then? It does the same thing as the USP but better. 1911's are sexy, fine trigger having, tack drivers.
>>
consider a 1911

Maybe for a duty gun.

USPs are Glocks for people who took the Fuddpill and think they need a manual safety.
>>
1911 under $1000 looks at armscor/ Rock Island (not rock river) about 600 bucks
>>
>>34394223
personally I'd go buy the oldest colt you can find thats not a series 80
>>
PSA 1911 $599

SR1911.
>no CA/NY bullshit safety features but still drop safe
>some modern niceties while staying mostly faithful to the original design
>ready to go out of the box, no polishing, sight replacement, etc
>looks nice

ruger r1911 night watchmen
is a series 70 you want a tactic rail then buy their other model
>>
Get a Rock Island and a ton of ammo
>>
Ruger, RIA, Norinco

I hear that Remington makes a spray painted piece of shit pressed into the shape of a 1911 for around $600. Then there's TISAS a notch below that.
>>
>>34395909

What about Palmetto's 1911? Other anon has me curious.
>>
Remington R15 enhanced is pretty nice, just a shit finish
>>
>>34395938
It's pretty new but if they want Ruger/Colt prices for them the answer is clear.

yup, the etching is horrendous but otherwise i like how it looks.

Since we're mostly talking about .45 in this thread, the USP comes able to withstand .45 Super out of the factory.
