Looking for an (affordable) lever action shotgun with no stock and the minimum legal length, or close to it (which is 18in barrel/26in overall).
Chiappa makes exactly what I'm looking for but they're expensive as fuck. There's gotta be a cheaper alternative for what seems like a rather simple gun, right?

Do you call every AR15 by the designation the manufacturer gives it, or do you call it a fucking AR15?

Theres a reason manufacturers use pump action.

The mare's legs versions of these are kind of weird and a bit difficult to manipulate, but they are usable. I bought a Chinese one that came with the cut off stock and full, I used the cut off once to try it and then just left the full one on.
I really love my 1887, it's my favourite gun because of how unique and neat it is. I would personally suggest using the full stock but if you really want that Terminator feel or a short PGO shotgun that is capable of holding 7 rounds the mare's legs are usable if not a little awkward. In any case I would say get one, they're really fun and different.

Any good for home defense? Or should I get a pump? FYI I'm 100x better at working a lever but if there's any inherent differences tell me
