This is a complete fagmaster question but: does anyone have good methods for reducing anxiety while on stalk?
I have a handgun, I'm in battle rattle, I know logically there's not much living near me that can hurt me badly anyway, and getting hobo-murdered is pretty unlikely, but every time I go I get the heebie-jeebies and feel like I'm surrounded by fuck knows what.
Is there some army wisdoms or breathing exercise or some shit I can be doing? Or is it just a case of toughening up?

Learn the local firearms laws like the back of your hand if you plan on taking guns with you, and get familiar with trespassing bylaws in your area. If you're going into abandoned structures, you can always ask permission of the land owner to go in, (Say you're taking pictures for a project or something.)and otherwise just be aware that you could be breaking the law while going into a Zone. Take precautions not to get caught if you do, clean your messes, and only take friends along who will do the same. Also, if you do bring others, fully disclose the risks of trespassing and getting caught once you learn what the consequences are.

So its based off of the videogame right. Basically its modified camping where you go to a building and stay the night all the while trying not to get caught trespassing.

Additionally just look up places to go and stalk. Like abandoned structures. Your best bet for reliable places is reddit honestly.
