Even a good pair of headphones only cuts out 30db or so. A gunshot is 140-190db, and it only takes 85 to cause hearing damage. Daily reminder the federal government oppresses us and forces us to damage our ears to practice fighting them.

However I've been to the indoor range twice. Didn't realize until after that my 32nrr headset was dramatically reduced because my dumbass wore eye-pro that interfered.

Oh a significant thing was that non specifically defined Muslims, where barred from weapons ownership. So gun licence and the like. We had some guns confiscated apparently, but my grandfather had been storing guns since ww2 and had a significant collection before the licensing process was made. I remember when I was smaller there was a place on the roof I was told never to go into because there are hand grenades there. I never did go inside I can't confirm.
