Personally, I think grey looks pretty good as a two tone, but I can't rationalize why I like it, other than the chique factor. It's basically a fashion accessory at this point.

I'm thinking about getting a Glock 22 in the near future, and a gun with an FDE frame appeals to me because then I'd be able to more quickly identify it when it's sitting next to my Glock 17 on the shooting bench. I'm not sure if you can shove a 9mm Glock magazine into a .40 caliber Glock frame, but even if there's no safety issue, there would still be an advantage to being able to differentiate two dimensionally identical guns at a glance just by their colors.

I really like Glock's OD green. In certain lighting it can look green enough to blend in with foliage, and in certain lighting it can look kind of tan to blend in with your coyote brown gear, although it's not as much of a strong tan color as FDE. They have a new "battlefield green" color that they are making right now, and I suspect that it would be a little too bright green, almost like a toy, but I haven't held any battlefield green Glocks up close to confirm this.

Why? I think gray is a great color on a gun, more traditional than black, while still being low profile and discreet, because it mimics old fashioned gun bluing.

One of the shops I frequent has a few of the factory colored frame and slide glocks that I'm tempted to buy, just because. I don't need a 19 but they have one in FDE that I want just because it's something different.

Wood gets a pass, I don't even really like chrome or SS in regards to looks.

It's nice they offer them because it's cheap as fuck and lets people get from factory vs some of the horrid paint jobs they end up doing.

I've got a robins egg blue polymer 80 glock, I think it's fun to shoot but I really am not a glock-fag so take that for what it's worth

I love Tacticool black/grey as much as the next guy but I'd love to have a whole technicolor armory because why not as long as it's done tastefully. I like Fuschia but Electric or darkish Blue would be awesome.

Its definately a lighter od. Slightly darker the sage green on abu's. I like it. I see too many bbg's so i thought id go tiny and green for my first glock.

I'm really thinking of picking up a couple color frame Glocks just because they have been so fucking rare for the past 5 years, and I hear that Glock only does runs of color frame guns once every 5 or 6 years, so if I don't pick one up now, maybe I won't be able to in a few years.
