My barrel slides into the receiver really easily. It's not exactly loose, but its not a rock solid lockup either. I can wiggle the barrel a couple degrees once its inserted. Havent attached barrel nut yet of course. Could this affect accuracy? Or does barrel nut clamp tight enough thats its not an issue?

Can't decide what to do with this thing.

Got the stock rifle for free from S&W, currently only have about $60 into the gun in accessories if you exclude the optic. Mostly mags, most of the furniture etc was traded into or spares.

If I keep it, it's going to need several hundred burgercredits invested to get it to what I consider a somewhat acceptable state. Trigger, free float, gas block, muzzle device, and buis at minimum.

Alternatively I could sell it and put the cash into some other semi .308 rifle. If I built a .308 AR it would end up costing a lot more than I could get out of this, and while I haven't really been keeping up on the market the only other viable modern option seems like the SCAR-17.

Opinions?

You really don't play very intensive games if you aren't getting your CPU load above 17% on a 2.7ghz CPU. Perhaps you mean you're at %17 *total* load, which is largely irrelevant to gaming performance and means one of your 8 logical cores is totally maxed and bottlenecking you because even modern games have poor multithreading and don't really utilize more than just a few cores. You could really benefit from a new CPU, something running at 4Ghz+

Like literally you must just be playing vanilla morrowind and league of legends to not be bottlenecked by a 2.7 ghz processor.

Been overclocked at 3.9ghz since day 1. Also it's not my fault game developers still can't take advantage of multiple cores 10 years after the technology became widely available. 17% TOTAL, so they game likely is only using one virtual core, not even a full physical core. Never heard of a game that can use multiple cores, can you list some? I just launched BF4 and it can only use 1 virtual core.

tl;dr I highly doubt a 2017 4GHz CPU with one core at 100% is going to outperform my 2010 4GHz CPU with one core at 100%.
