Sup /k/
I got my girlfriend into masterrace .45 ACP a couple months back and now she wants her own. She has small hands so we've been looking at compact .45s to fit her grip. I recommended her the Glock 30S and she's also expressed interest in the USP45c. Figured I'd ask /k/ for some recommendations while I'm at it.
This isn't for concealed carry, just something for her to enjoy at the range/home defense.

I two enjoy guns at the home defense
I have a USP45 compact, it is my favorite gun of all time. It shoots about as smooth as my P01, and conceals better. Try one out, if you like it, they're worth it. Stupid accurate, very concealable. If you want a light, get a TLR3 and you won't need an adapter.
If you want anything else let me know.

Any idea how the USP45c compares to the HK45c?

Better ergos a bit slimmer grips easier to shoot, it's not as prevalent in video games and movies so k doesn't like it as much
Shield .45 is cheap and good. I love mine, very accurate and comfy af. Trigger is a little shitty but otherwise you can't beat it for value

I tried out both, I prefer the USP series over the HK45 series simply because the USP full size has more rounds and there wasn't enough of a benefit from a whole new model to make me care about the HK45c. I just didn't see anything I was really getting for my 200 extra bucks, and the ergos are still pretty much the same.

That and .45 is a low pressure cartridge and actually can perform well in short barrels, supposedly.

The HK45c is better, don't let these USPtards convince you otherwise. It has a better light rail, a better grip and it is a bit slimmer at the top of the slide making it easier to conceal.

Ruger american compact 45, cheap, light, and the small grip module it comes with are thin enough for the smallest of hands.
Sig 320 compact 45, slightly thinner grip than a glock, very comfortable in hand, and they do sell different size grips seperately, such as a small. Warning, sigs get expensive when buying mags and extras

XDs 4". Put the small blackstrap on. Super compact and good range gun with extended mags.

The USP grip can feel very uncomfortable in small hands .. when deciding between it and the HK45 it'd take the HK45.

NOT A SOLDIERS GUN?
