They only fly at night when they have to move, and chances are they have been " shown off " you just never know they're there because that's the point you tit. I'm pretty sure the RAF have something like it, i live under an RAF Helicopter flight path, heli's always come in really low few nights i jump up as one shakes my house, its only there for a few seconds then its gone again i never heard it coming or leaving. I've seen/heard one of these in person, they are insanely quiet, doesn't sound like a helicopter at all until it's directly overhead and even then very quiet. More of a whining sound than anything else.
