Not op here also living in glorious Constitutional carry state, also looking for an edc, I've been to a couple gun shops but none of the plastic fantastic pistols appeal to me. Weight isn't a problem as I'm used to wearing a heavy tool belt 12 hours a day. Was looking at a cz75 compact.

I carry a P01 for my EDC. It's a fantastic shooter, and aluminum framed so it saves on weight. Get a good belt and a good holster and you can carry stuff much bigger even.
