I'm red-green colorblind and I can say this is accurate. Strangely enough, alot of camouflage appears slightly orange to me, making it stick out in a big way against the backround. It also makes it way easier to detect movement- I've had countless times I see something moving or hiding before anyone else and I get this "anon, how the hell did you see that?" response. It might just be that I have good eyes for that though.

Red-green colorblind here. It's 100% true for certain patterns. Esp m81 woodlands and flecktarn in forests. Don't have experience with other patterns but those stick out like a sore thumb no matter how much or what type of vegetation.
