BUT at least it isn't that one button thing they usually use. Those buttons fucking suck. I think it's just there to hide the seem. If it's cheaper and better looking than the button it also solves the problem of it hitting you on the head, if your hair is really short that button that normally goes there serves the function of looking gay and hurting your head if anything bumps it hard.
