Unless you're at high risk of having to fight off a gun grab or clear a lot of buildings for a living I'd pass on it honestly. It's a neat peace of kit, but not really worth the price or worth the hassle of appendix carrying around every day.

Don't know why people thinks it's "cringe" or "mall ninja." It is a great blade for every day carry use. It is very light and I just clip it into the waist band of my athletic shorts in the summer. I hardly even notice that it's there. Go for it dude, you won't regret it.

I would get a good folder.
Your pic make great folders.

And they don't look mallninja, won't scare noguns people and finally will probably be more useful for slicing shit like tape, cardboard or whatever else you need in an EDC.

Also folders with a glass breaker and seat belt cutter are infinitely superior to your pic.

we were issued those, i suppose they work for the intended function, that is, grab it quickly and stab someone with it.

At anything else they're pretty much terrible, and more than one guy in our platoon managed to break the tip without putting any effort with it.

TL;DR if you're gonna use it once, for that time when stabbing someone could save your life, go for it i guess. if you actually need a knife, buy a knife instead.
