How do anti nuclear missile systems work?
Eg does it approach it head on?
do they even work?
what is their success rate?
will they ever have a ~100% success rate?
Hit to kill.
Sometimes?
????
Probably not.

Last I checked the success rate was 40% for some of The US's systems.
Doesn't really matter when 1,000s of tiny warheads are flying everywhere.

They don't

It's better than nothing.
I wonder if we still have nuclear interceptors.

Wouldn't a large emp blast over the Atlantic/Pacific be the best nuclear defense?
>>34362096
Anti missile system are never 100% success rate and that's the scary thing when it comes to nuclear defense. No matter how intricate, how good your defenses are there still a chance one or more would slip through

EMPs aren't a magical technology killer. They are essentially high power radio waves across many frequencies and their power dissipates over distance as any radio wave does per the free space path loss equation
>>34362096
They don't need 100% success rate to have drastic impacts on ballistic missile fleets

As in nuclear-tipped missile defense? Doubtful, the Safeguard and Sentinel programs were highly controversial money pits, and while the Sprint missile was a masterpiece of insane Cold War engineering (Mach 10 in 5 seconds, over 100Gs acceleration), it was sort of a dead end.
I'll give it this much, though: the Safeguard complex sites were some of the most gloriously brutalist things ever built. It looks like something straight out of A Colder War, too.

no lol

You can own it now, if you want. The Safeguard complex is for sale.
on eBay...

Fun fact: Russian nuclear ABM system works similarly to Safeguard and is still in operation in a slightly modern form. However unlike the current US GMD system, the Russian is purely nuclear tipped and if it were to be changed to a hit to kill like the US GMD, the entire thing has to be redesigned and reworked from the ground up as it is not accurate enough.

>How do anti nuclear missile systems work?
They don't.
That's why the servile Anglo-Zionists haven't attempted regime change in Russia yet.
You people are all fucking clueless (what a surprise, this is 4chan afterall)
