I don't keep it on my person unless I'm hiking/exploring, it's usually in my truck during the day - it's totally impractical for anywhere but the woods. But it's easy to carry on person if desired, I just use the provided pouch and attach it to my belt - no one notices or has any idea what it is.

I work at a gun friendly place, one day I carried the can as previously described, doing my normal routine (dealing with clients/customers, office work peppered with light labor), at the end of the day I pulled my boss into my office. He had a shit eating grin as I proceeded to pull out my EDC and thread the can, he gave a hoot and said "now where'd THAT come from!?"

The pouch holds 2 spare mags and that right there is a trigger guard since I mexicarry. There is a clipdraw on the other side of the slide that secures the gun to whatever pants/shorts I'm wearing.

P30 1/2x28 threaded bbls are eazy to find, for the P30L I ended up getting a 13.5x1mm LH bbl because of availability

Take your P30 and take the slide off as normal, now rotate the slide lock/release UP and pull in out. To attached the shorter version just slip it in and rotate back down.

It's a 442, you can tell because it's black.
Anyways, both are good. I like the look and feel of the smith but there is nothing wrong with the LCR. They are really similar. Factory Ruger trigger isn't as heavy as the smith but the smith is easy to fix. The Apex trigger kit and a fine stone will run you about $35 from Brownell's.
I wouldn't pick either for a first gun, though. Snubs for women and new shooters is a fucking bad meme.

It's pretty fun. So far have only put about 200 rounds through it in one range visit. Used a couple different brands of ammo. Took it all just fine. No issues. Dead simple to take down and clean. Second mag makes it long enough to fill my hand and use for home defense. I can't speak for their larger models, but the CM9 is just about the smallest 6+1 9mm there is. Works perfect for pocket carry. If I were to get a larger gun though, I think I'd go for double stack unless I lived in a commie state with mag limits.

I think it's a nicer FNS. The grip has more effort into it, with three different textures in different spots; the slide has a nice rounded contour with full-length serrations instead of the blocky, stepped design of the FNS; the action is a *lot* smoother and doesn't unlock roughly like my old FNS did; the mag release has a fine checkering and doesn't stick out as much as the FNS, and feels more comfortable. The trigger feels the same, too, which is good.

I like the new slide shape especially, it's very HK like.

It certainly feels like a beefier, more solid pistol, but the internal changes seem minimal.

An Apex might be cool but I really like the factory trigger, and from my experience with their Glock trigger, I might prefer it over an Apex.

I've zeroed it and tried using only the laser to aim and it works alright, but I've found it really comes into it's own as a way to quickly align your eye to the sights. Once you zero it appropriately the dot lines up very machine a cowitnessed red dot, it's nice. It's very easy to see even in daylight but the main reason I got it instead of just the light was for low light or night shooting. Otherwise I'd just out my tlr1 hl on it.

I recently got my Raven Concealment Eidolon holster in the mail, and when carrying in appendix position, it prints like a bitch along the waistline. As in, my shirt kinda hugs the soft loops and they're super obvious. Everything else conceals just fine. Am I doing something wrong?
