Depends on where you are located... I am in a place that can be dangerous, but not like Gaza, so the threat of being snipped is incredibly unlikely to the point that it ceases to be a real threat/concern.

As for training, we learn how to deal with many different types of environments, even using specialized forces for some of them (i.e. the snow unit on Mt. Hermon)

Generally though, training, wars and battles are dealt with in a manner that allows for us not to be heavily negatively effected by the elements when attempting to achieve our goals (whatever they may be).

I can't speak for everyone, yeah? But from what I remember with the Muslim guy who served with us, he was considered to really be one of us (as in, a Brother in Arms).

From what I've seen though, trackers (who are usually Bedouin or Druze) are respected, but Israel isn't really a class-system society, so I guess they are treated the same as any other outside unit that isn't one of your own but is now working with your unit (like tank crews working with infantrymen, or infantrymen working with soldiers from the dog unit)... I guess what I'm trying to say is, is that trackers (who are often Muslim or Druze) are treated the same as anyone else, but with maybe a little bit of an added interest due to their specific specialty.

Can a foreigner become a combat medic? Yes, but you will want to brush up on your reading and writing skills beforehand, for there are a lot of tests within the course.

They change it from time to time, but in the standard infantry corps during my time (i.e. not the elite or non-combat units) doing 2K in under 7 and a half minutes was good, whilst things like how close your groupings were would likely influence what function you may become (i.e. Sharp Shooter, Light Machine Gunner, etc...)
