Completely understandable as Greece is broke. A lot of people make a big deal about how Greece still spends more than 2% GDP on defense, but that is only because their economy has shrunk so much, and what is left is basically electoral bribes in the form of a jobs program, and meeting ongoing obligations. For comparison, 70% of military spending goes on personnel in Greece, compared to 37% in the USA.
