What made the price jump?

I remember scrimping and saving for a couple of months when I was 16 to buy a moisin. I was so excited to finally get a rifle to hunt deer with instead of my shotgun. Best 70 dollars I ever spent.
You however are late to the cheap gun party, just spend that 300 on a better modern bolt action.

I got my first mosin in 2012 for 110 bucks. It was a Romanian M44, and it was a piece of shit. I sold it, and sperged ot when classic firearms first got the Finnish M39's in, now I'm stuck with an M39 I shoot on rare occasion.
