Main problems with the Calico specifically came down to the magazines reliability and the fact they came out almost exactly as the federal AWB was starting. So when the main selling point of your gun is huge mag capacity, but you can only sell 10rounders to pleabs your business model falls flat without huge LEO/Mil buy-in.

Does it have a setting to disable the slide from moving? If not, I really doubt it seeing as after firing there isn't a single moving part on the weldrod and it uses solid, sacrificial rubber wipers that just outright perform better than a baffled suppressor. Can't be arsed to look up exact numbers, but I believe the weldrod produced something in the upper 50 decibel range. Basically a talking voice. Suppressed pistols are typically in the 70-85 range with 90 being able to cause hearing damage from immediate exposure.

I've seen the guy who owns the company and his compatriots, they look like such clueless fudds. Exactly the kind of people who make a 7.62x39 pistol with a 3" barrel. I actually researched the ballistics on the thing, it's about as powerful as a 9mm which is hilarious when you think about it.

I've handled one of these before. It's such a shitheap, being made of crude stamped metal with the roughest action known to man and a grip that feels like holding on to a brick. It was really cool though and I wanted it, I was impressed by how short they could make a shotgun by moving the firing assembly so far back. The strangest thing was that the gun was all matte black including the plastic forend but the stock was all lacquered wood.

They are collectable. You can still find 15rd mags and I think barrels. Be a fun pistol to make an internally suppressed barrel.

I remember I was only 19 years old. I loved the Mars Automatic so much. I had an obsession with this gun and I still do. Every night I would pray to Mr.Gabbet-Fairfax in hopes that I can own a Mars Automatic with a hefty supply of ammunition. I want to know and feel the power of firing that beast of a handgun. I want to know how it felt to fire a massive flame at the enemy with bullets having near rifle velocity. One night my room mate bursts into my room while I was praying to Mr. Fairfax.
"Again with this bullshit? Fuck off with you and your obsession for an obsolete handgun. Ammo doesn't even exist for it." I yelled back at him
"MR.FAIRFAX WILL PROVE THAT YOURE WRONG."
"Yeah fuck off and buy a Glock you single stack lover." I was appalled. I went to bed crying and I was so disappointed in my room mate for lacking faith. I turn over to cry into my pillow. I feel something underneath.
"What the fu- wait no way" I say to myself.
"I knew you always wanted one"
I turn and see the man himself, Mr.Fairfax. He sees me holding his handgun in awe.
"Now is that a handgun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" He says in his sweet tender overly complicated voice.
My room mate barges into the room
"Hey I heard a noise and what THE FUCK IS THAT"
I raise my MARS handgun at my room mate.
"You'll never go far if it's not a Mars." I blow a hole clean through his torso. The recoil is so immense that me and Mr.Fairfax go flying out the window. We ascend into the heavens. I love the Mars handgun so much.

This is an impressive 7.62TT submachine gun. The charging handle retracts into the bolt when disassembling...the front of the bot has two notches for use in removing the barrel nut...and the right side of the front stock has a loading mechanism for use with 8rd stripper clips to load the 32 shot mags. Folder stock unlocks at the grip itself, and is held at the back by detent and cam.

Czechs come up with interesting guns...this one is awesome.

Also to add...the ejector port is fully covered in both the forward and rear locked position of the bolt...and the selector is strictly on safe or fire, as the trigger is actually the selector for semi or full auto fire. Pull the trigger half way back and get semiauto fire...pull it all the way back and it goes full auto.

Semi-correct, Anon. That's a sub-caliber trainer - they use a small-caliber tracer with the same ballistics as the live round so you can practice without expending big, expensive ammo.
Because even a training round at full size is fucking expensive, and that shit adds up.
More and more they're moving to simulators as technology improves, but those sub-caliber trainers were the primary method for a number of years.
