The rifle is an Enfield I got when I was 16 and the pistol is passed down from my grandfather. In all honesty, I would like something not bolt-action but I can't bring myself to make the purchase yet. I'd probably get an AK just because I like the reliability (and I'm a Sovietboo). It would get used though and wouldn't be used for dress-up too. Maybe that's a little hypocritical.

the drop leg is a slightly older technology, because when you're wearing a large bullet proof vest, you can't run the pistol on your hip because you won't be able to draw and you have to drop it down. these days vests are slimmer and we have drop duty adapters that move the pistol down while still being secured to your hip, so they're on the decline. a properly adjusted drop leg isn't even all that bad, but if I'm not wearing body armor I'd rather have the pistol on my hip
