I fucking love this gun, /k/.

The ergonomics are vastly superior to Glock.
It's replaced my duty weapon, formerly a G19.
I pew much harder, faster, and accurately with it.
It's nice and I like it lots.
It conceals off-duty just as well as my G19 did.
Negligible difference in size compared to G19.
I can take it apart completely for max cleans.
Put some Trijicon HD night sights on it.
I've put ~1000 rounds through it already and I love it.
Got a Safariland ALS mid-ride holster for work and it's lovely.
Feelin' very fancy and comfortable with my purchase.

/k/ommando, post your P320s.
Pic is related, not mine but the exact same.
Black hardware on an ODG grip.

Thanks to the p320 I can't stand shooting my glocks. That bothersome glocks hump puts awkward pressure on my palm combined with poor trigger undercut it just makes shooting unpleasant. The p320 grip has nothing bothersome so gripping and shooting has been a pleasant experience. The trigger, which is pretty good out of the box, only gets better as the round count increases.

I also think the gun overall looks neat. The beavertail, higher slide height, and metal trigger all contribute to the look.

I bought both full size and compact P320s, tried to like them, but ended up selling them both. I'm not a Glock fan, but the Glock balances better, has a better magazine aftermarket, and the recoil feels more controllable on a Glock, to me. It's very easy for me to deal with the springy motion of the slide coming back on a Glock. The P320 recoil feels more like a snap and a flip, just more complex of a motion to control for.

I'm a huge Glockfag but from the times I've played with the P320, I was always impressed.

It is the only striker fired pistol that could unironically be called the Glock killer. Shame about Sig's P320 team being disbanded.
>>
>this entire thread

The 320 is made for women hands aka european girly hands. Its slide is designed to fit a hammer but yet sig felt no need to reduce both weight and size by making it smaller for the striker version of this pistol. Additionally, they still need sight replacements since the standard ones suck shit as much as glock sights do.

You just bought lazy resold junk that Sig barely did anything to and you retards ate it up like a bunch of sheep claiming it as a enormous improvement over glock, when in reality it's just another alternative trying to be glock.

>b-but muh US mil contracts
Remember when they picked the Beretta over the p226? Retarded.
If they had waited a little longer they could've had the Glock 17 also, but they were retarded then just like they are now.

The first part was me being facetious.

Look it's not like I'm stupid either. I see the pros of this gun clear as day. The trigger group module is what actually shines, and the guns implementation of a regular safety and ability switch frame sizes are features that should be on most polymer options these days.
I just can't get over the fact that a vastly improved version can come out soon enough to make me feel stupid for buying one, or ever be proud of our country adopting it.

The nature of your question is a deflection.

Anon is probably annoyed seeing this thread made on repeat, ever since the US chose the p320 as the cheapest pistol to issue. The p320 owners on /k/ appear to be remorseful buyers. It's almost like a Kia support group in here.

>I just, I think it's just as good..
>and it's cheaper somehow!
>No wait, it's actually better than the Honda guys!

When you are truly better, you don't need to constantly try and measure up to what you are imitating. There are 1911 vs Glock threads, because the two are fundamentally different as can be, as far as a semi auto handgun goes.

Here on the other hand, you are worried about if you measure up. You are worried you bought what amounts to another over hyped clone: xd, m&p, sr9, etc. Well you did. It's just sad people are this unrealistic, and uneducated.

You got hyped because it was new, and it got a contract. Just like .40, everyone is excited, but you haven't really examined what you got. It isn't the best, and deep down you poorfags know it. Next time buy a HK.

Still on the fence between a 2022 and a p320. The OD color option may or may not be the tie breaker. Can you easily get the p320 in OD or will I have to order the grips separately?

>actually it will since the p320 will be the new glock now since the military adopted it

that's been said about every polymer striker pistol that came around the corner. it never happened. and it never will because every single one of them was trying to 1up Glock with some gimmicky "feature". what's the trigger group for in the P320? what was the army thinking? does the army have a limit on how many pistols they can own - which is the only scenario I can think of where this "feature" makes sense? nope. if you ahve a full size gun and you want a subcompact for carry you still need to buy a frame, a barrel and a slide - basically a whole new gun really. its a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

Makes life easier on armorers dealing with very large fleets who order non-serially controlled parts by the shitload and facilitates parts swaps to keep more of that fleet mission capable while deployed or where adding more serially controlled items is a hassle. Civilians need none of that and it also simplifies training for fobbits. Civilians very rarely wear out firearms.

Yeah is it me or every Inforce product ends up having issues? I feel like they favor sleek "design" over rugged construction, namely with their obsession with using polymer where there should be metal. Their weapon lights are simply not durable enough for what they are meant to do. The only advantage their lights have over other cheaper options like Streamlight is their aesthetics.
>>
>>34350502
Actually they would if they could dumbass. The Mk12 and Mk18 were both initially intended to be standalone uppers but issues with the trigger and gas/buffer system respectively made it impossible, or at least impractical. It is not when it comes to the P320. The trigger pack acts as the lower receiver itself (if comparing to an AR15), where changing the grip module would be akin to swapping the pistol grip on your AR. You can run a full size slide on a compact slide, so you could switch between a full size slide and barrel for duty or home defence and a compact setup for carry. Magazine compatibility makes capacity a non-issue. It's also very sound from a logistical standpoint and although civilians may never truly appreciate this feature, it at least makes for easier cleaning... So yeah it's nothing completely revolutionary but it is a practical improvement and a step forward from the Glock. Ergonomics and "shootability" are subjective and can be argued, but there is a new kid on the block and Glock fanboys are right to be scared and on the defensive.

I've got one in 9mm with the conversion kit for .45. Easily one of the nicest handguns I've ever shot, though .45 isn't as comfy to shoot from it as it is from heavier pistols.

Still can't believe the Army adopted a new handgun that's actually good. Too bad I'll never be issued one.

What is a manual trigger safety really for?

Yeah, it was a really nice upgrade for me, and it's only like $45. Installation is technically easy, but kind of annoying in practice.

>P320 X-Five

That is an affront to the good name of the X-Five.

Scoop it back and get you a 320.

Can't stand the mile long pull on my 250. It's a nice pull, but I can watch a movie and have a nice supper and still won't have brought the trigger back to the break point.
