What kind of things does /k/ wear on a daily basis? Does anybody unironically wear anything /k/ related like a Gorka jacket or milurp jacket in public?
I wear my Gorka jacket for when it is extremely windy and damp but not pouring.
I wear blue jeans and tshirts with sneakers. If its cold I'll wear a jean jacket or my m65. Wearing anything related to the chins in public is fucking retarded.
On a related note, I recently saw a rent-a-cop with a /k/ patch on his jacket, its hard enough to not laugh at them, and then he went and wore that.
>Own one pair of jeans that fit and aren't ripped to pieces
>All other pants are camo milsurp of varying nationality
>tshirts as the norm, including a 'Murika /k/ tshirt
>Wear various BDU tops with the jeans
>Generally avoid wearing more than one piece of milsurp/camo in any given outfit
>Have a full set of normal and milsurp fall and winter gear
>Sewed a /k/ patch on my Austrian M65 in a fit of madness long ago, continue to wear it anyway
>Borderline grotesquely tall and lanky
>Have embraced the cringe
Get a life op.
Dress like a russian
>>34327860
Blue jeans, plaid shirts tucked in, sharkskin boots.
As far as military goes, I'll wear a commando sweater in the fall and winter months, usually under a leather jack or civilian parka/wool coat depending on how cold it is.
The only thing /k/ related I wear is one surplus Austrian m65 that I bought from nugget enterprises, and a bdu top. Both olive drab.
I think if I wear anything camo people will accuse me of trying some stolen valor, or assume I served when I did not, or make assumptions about my politics, etc.
>>34327860
I've got a Canadian Combat Parka for use in winter months. Comfy as fuck. Huge pockets with mag/radio pouches inside, massive oversized hood with wire rim, and a "Regular Long" goes down to my knees at 6ft 1in so I don't have to wear ski pants to keep warm. It also has the added benefit of making me look much larger than I am, so people get the fuck out of my way.

>Be geology fag inna field at times
I usually just wear those nifty cargo pants that zip off into shorts. They're really comfy out in the field. I like wearing my broken in Merrell boots too. Usually just wear a T shirt or light button up shirt.
Milsurp is cool and all, but some of the fags here make it pretty cringe tier.
>Cargo pants
>Pocket tee
>Crocs/velcro sandals/steel toe boots
>My dad's old aemy BDU
Not too much, desu
I wear my old woodland M65 in the winter if I'm running errands, nobody cares. I've started wearing a fleck parka without the liner (moved to Alabama, winter doesn't really happen for me anymore) but that seems to draw more attention. Will probably relegate that to hunting squirrels.
Merrells always. Usually an old stained LaRue hat.
I use a sling bag on weekends if I take my 3-year-old out to the woods, nobody really seems phased by that (which I didn't expect).
Flannel shirts in the winter. I've had southern hipsters ask me where I get my "really nice shirts". I am inwardly amused when I tell them LL Bean and they have no idea what it is, or how embarassingly toddler-dad I have become.
>>34327860
> Discount Dockers boots
> No-name cargo pants
> Washed-out shirt
> Cotton hoodie / Homemade wool sweater
> Yellow raincoat / Wool Coat & Scarf / Thick down jacket
Such are the clothes I've been wearing all year round, for years if not decades. Will do so for the forseeable future.
Comfy.
>>34330611
How do they not know what the fuck ll bean is? I'm in the hipster age group and literally all of my school and hiking backpacks have been ll bean.
>>34327860
I wear my Sposn gorka jacket and trousers almost daily when I walk my dog in the woods or around the neighbourhood when the weather is bad.
Never wearing the gorka together around town but as separates making them pretty casual. In the woods together.
People often ask where to get the anorak and say it looks great and 5/5 comfy. It's not even that baggy when you tighten it up and have a proper size. Goes well with jeans or whatever.
But it's not for regular daily use, you may look like a sperg wearing it in the city if it's not raining or you live in a urban äreä with no woods nearby.
We have been getting heavy thunderstorms lately (having one over 9000db thunder right now) so I just throw it on whatever I'm wearing when I go take the dog out in the rain.
The jacket is pretty cool and I carry it when it may rain or near sea where the cold wind blows as it has high button up collar.
The trousers are just extremely durable cargo pants. Use them yard work or walking the dog in the woods.
Bought it originally for the spring but because Russia it got delayed for few months but now it's even colder and more rain than in spring so it sees some use. Still it's gonna be best in autumn.
There aren't that many images of Sposn/SSO gorkas so pay attention. When brand new they are almost single color OD/tan but them they start to fade and become 2 color.
Also they are much better than the regular Bars you see everywhere, better quality sewing and more breathable material.
When it comes to milsurp, use them as accessories, don't go full milsurp and remember, no fucking camo if you are around people and not innawoods 100% time.
>What kind of things does /k/ wear on a daily basis?
Uhh, work clothes mostly.
Police BDU Cargos, Steel Toed winter or summer military boots, sometimes LEO shirts.
>>34327860
Tac pants on a regular basis. Normally Meme.11
Comfy + durable + lightweight + space for all your shit and then some. Additionally, they have a dressier appearance with the pleated front and angled pockets. Great for IT in an Office environment.
>>34327860
I generally wear a pair of blue jeans and a german milsurp flecktarn jacket
>>34327860
Usually khakis and a button down with sneakers or jeans and a polo/t shirt and sneakers. The most formal I get is skinny khakis and a navy blazer or something.
>>34330759
I also wear my gorka jacket unironically. I don't wear the pants much but the pockets on the jacket are great and it really is comfy without being too warm.
>>34328594
That's a serb you fucking retard
>>34327860
Shorts and a t-shirt because it's always hot as fuck in NC. Fucking humidity.
The south is a nightmare, and I was born here.
>>34332665
Do you work outdoors?
I'm also an NCfag and I walk across campus every day, usually in long sleeves and cotton pants or chinos, with no trouble, maybe a little sweat on crazy days. But then I spend most of my day indoors.
>>34332698
No, I work inside. It's still hot as hell though. I'm a pretty hairy guy and I guess I'm just hot-natured. I assume Charlotte?
>>34332712
Greensboro. Though that might make a difference, it's a good 5 degrees or so cooler on any given day than the part of the state I'm from, Fayetteville. I assume Charlotte is a bit warmer.
-tailored black or gray jeans - black & gray t-shirts
-floral pattern button shirts
-gray flannel
-Oxfords and chukka boots
only milsurp I wear are some running shorts.
>>34327860
>plain crew neck t-shirts or occasionally metal band shirts
>ordinary regular fit black and blue jeans
>vans or doc martens
>plain beanie or plain black hat
The only surplus I've ever thought about getting to wear as a normal article of clothing is this parka. I'm not some military fag at all though and I don't want people to get even a slight impression of that.
>>34327860
I only ever wear one piece of surplus at a time. Usually,it's an American M65.
I also have a few pair of M56 trousers for the winter, and some Flecktarn trousers for summer and spring.
On any given day, I'll wear jeans or khakis and a button up shirt.
Pretty much all my foul weather gear is milsurp. It's cheap and it works, that's all I care about.
I wear oversized plain T-Shirts, Vertx phantom LT pants and Asolo Fugitives most days
I live in Florida.
White t with a columbia water/ wind resistant shell that's light and thin enough to wear in the heat but what I need with the random rain this time of year.
Usually either a twill dickies pants, or my board shorts that look like regular shorts so I can cc SUPER comfortable due to stretchy waist band.
Thin, light, water resistant (i.e. Doesn't build up mositure much, less sweating) and comfy to cc in. I will wear this (-the dickies) in the woods, around town, or waist deep in the beach surf fishing
Wow. A thread where 90% of replies are "I wear pants and a shirt". These are exciting times we live in.
>>34333769
Were you expecting everyone to be wearing full sets of milsurp camo or 5.11?

CAF Extreme Weather Parka + Black 5.11 Gloves + Black wool hat.
Leatherman Multi-tool, 5 inch fixed knife, brass knuckles back pocket, karambit tucked into boot.
Pretty basic, not showing anything off.
Wearing 5.11 Side-zips right now, moving to Hagwan Alaskan boots soon. Need something comfy.
Have a 400$ black duster tucked away, don't wear it anymore.
Southern AZ
shorts and tshirt all day every day
>>34330921
Second this, I have 6 or 7 pairs of 5.11 stykers.
Although I found the urban pipeline cargo pants with spandex stretch...is much better for hot weather. They run 25~ USD so im not too upset.
Shirts, polos, 5.11, or poly shirts that have mesh. I like these omnishade shirts from columbia.
>>34334735
Not bad out at all/10.
Personally, I'd ditch the Gorka for something different, but diff strokes/diff folks I suppose.

most people just buy clothes that fit good enough. but I pay a tailor a few more dollars to get them custom fitted. feels better, looks better.
>>34327860
i wear a US 740N PEA JACKET daily all winter long.
Worn jeans, a worn t-shirt, and pain of worn boots for working outside.
>>34334767
Just some generic riding pants that you can insert protective pads into- that also go great with that particular fit.
>>34335207
ANA Gorka 3, be warned though it's much more olive drab than it is tan like in the picture.
>>34333636
>Asolo Fugitives
Mah nigga. Such a good pair of boots. Got them as my first "I'm a real geologist now" field boots. Didn't anticipate wearing them as much as I do, they're just so comfy.
>>34330611
>but that seems to draw more attention
What kind of attention? Negative? I'm in Alabama and I don't want a fellow inbred autist making a scene next time I wear my fleck parka outside next winter.

They're just so damn handy. Worth it for the phone pocket alone.
>>34335702
how much does fitting cost? Been considering this
>>34330921
Yep, but I much prefer the APEX pants. The cargo pockets are nigh on invisible unless you load them up. 4 way stretch, stain and rip resistant, flexy waistband for IWB, big pockets..
I'll never go back to regular pants if I don't have to. If you carry a gun, why not use a pair of pants designed around this requirement ? InB4 gaymen, fuck off fags.
>>34327860
I wear long cargo pants in the winter and when I do yard work. The only milsurp I wear a lot is my Danish M84 coat, which is GoreTex lined and comfy as shit.
I have an East German strichtarn winter jacket I wear when it's cold. I also have a Bosnian Serb jacket I wear sometimes to the pub.
I have the czeck strichtarn jacket from varusteleka I tailored to be better fitting, that and one of the nva "genocide" parkas. They're pretty nice but it's hard to for them into a non autistic outfit. The parka goes great with an colourful sweater and a grey toque

>>34327860
I wear a camo bdu in size small because they're so big and baggy that it fits me pretty well unbuttoned, the sleeves are short so I roll them up. I usually wear some black pants (jeans, trousers) and vans or Adidas match court mids. For T shirts I just wear whatever. Spend most of my time here and on fa.
