Ok! So, I know where you are coming from, but a full length vfg is anaesthetic requirement of mine, I love the look. I did consider the TD vfg but after seeing an anon's rifle with the same rail wearing the TD, I was turned off by how it looked. I really like the look and feel of the kac, it works for me. Second, the main grip I would use would put my thumb on the switch, with the vfg fuctioning as an oversized handstop. In situations where I don't need my light, ie: most of them, I can chicken choke it as I am used to with my AUG. The accessories are autisticall placed to make switching between grips as natural as possible. It feels good in my basement, and I imagine it will feel good at the range on Friday as well.

Main problem with carbon is that you can't cut too many holes in it or attach stuff on it before it goes bunk.

Also carbon likes to melt at stuff over 600 degrees. Even aerospace resins / epoxies have a hard time keeping up
